So, last week a chap who I met at a wedding (he was in the band), got in touch for a photoshoot. He is going live as a Wedding Singer (Rat Pack/Buble type gig). Well, we set up and started the shoot. I told him to SING! If you sing, it'll be more natural and I can get the passion. And passion I got!
Nigel Smith; such a normal name, but when he opened his mouth (and it was early in the morning), he sang, song after song ... beautiful, buzzy tunes. At one point, I was tap dancing on the pool table to "I've got you ... under my skin" ... Anyway, nice to shoot something a bit different. His web is here - should be getting changed with the new images soon ...

Ballet at Oakwood School, Chichester ...
After a busy weekend of sports photography and a late Black Tie, I had a fabulous, creative Sunday to look forward to at Oakwood School. The girls (and a few boys) from Sue Bethel's Sussex Ballet School had ballet exams this weekend. Oakwood House is a large Georgian country house with floor to ceiling bay windows upstairs. As soon as I saw these windows, I knew I had to use them. My favourite is when the older girl came running up first and she was performing an arabesque in the window when her mum came in and said, "She has my ballet shoes on" ... if you look closely, you'll see they are way to big and she is holding on to the window for dear life ... but still as graceful still ... enjoy.
