Boxgrove Priory by Moonlight

I happened to be passing The Boxgrove Priory Church one evening when the moon was full and the stars were out. So I pulled over and this is what I found at the ruins.  Amazing light, blue and purple hues ... and twinkling stars ... (although I must admit I was a bit spooked). Enjoy ...

This is the original shot, backlit bythe moon, ISO 1000, shutter 5 long seconds! and F stop 2.8 ...

Photoshopped with a dark blue sky.

Same settings, add flash, car high beams for more detail ...

Winter Wedding at The Millstream, Bosham

The bride, Jessica from South Africa and Simon from Chichester chose The Millstream as their venue for their Winter wedding. A truly international wedding, with guests from Sweden, France, South Africa, and the USA.

Although a late start (a bride's hair has to be right!), the wedding went according to plan and with a few laughs during the ceremony, they were married just after midday by a Registrar.

The Millstream, as professional as always, overlooked every detail and kept everybody entertained as they waited for the Bride. Ali Gaudion Wedding Photographer from East Ashling was local and able to come and go as need for the couple.

A quick ceremony and the Bride & Groom were photographed in the manicured gardens at The Millstream and groups were taken outside.

Afterward a delicious Wedding Breakfast, the group walked to the Bosham Village Hall where vintage themed decorations adorned the Hall and dancing went on into the early hours.

Beach Wedding at The Witterings, Chichester

Beach Wedding Photography at The Witterings, Chichester
This was a wedding I shot about 3 years ago. It was shot at The Witterings near Chichester. The bride and groom had married at Edes House, which is now covering weddings for Chichester Registry Office as it has now closed down. We rushed to the beach for sunset. It was an amazing evening. The bride and groom, Steve and Ruth, who were both so much fun, skipped about on the beach (without my direction). Balancing the light from the sunset and the flash to expose their faces with enough light was challenging. But the results were amazing. Beach sunset wedding photography can be tough but so rewarding.
